The Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Justice have appointed a cooperation group for legislative policy for the period between 15 November 2011 and 31 March 2015. The working group consists of representatives from all the ministries.

The purpose of the working group is to function as a cooperation body between the different ministries in the implementation and monitoring of the legislative policy of the Government. In order to accomplish its assignment, the working group shall discuss the following matters and, if necessary, draft propositions concerning them: monitoring and outlining principles for the implementation of the legislative plan and other legislative policy; development of the resources for legislative drafting as well as organisation and development of the legislative drafting in the ministries; introduction of the good practices for the legislative drafting process, drawn up within the Effective Legislative Drafting project; open interaction and assessment of alternatives and impacts in legislative drafting; consistent reporting between the ministries in the implementation of the legislative policy, as a part of the monitoring of the Government Programme in cooperation with the network of liaison officers set up by the Prime Minister's Office; and development projects and measures for the legislative drafting of the Government as well as promotion of their implementation.
